On 6 October, the fourth annual meeting of The Economy of Francis (EoF), the community that gathers young economists, entrepreneurs and businessmen from all over the world, will take place live online worldwide (and in person at the Sanctuary of the Expulsion in Assisi).
This edition will include links and contributions from over 30 countries around the world, moments of meditation on the steps of St Francis of Assisi and a column dedicated to historical figures and anniversaries. The 25th hour is the theme proposed by EoF's scientific coordinator, the economist Luigino Bruni. It is expected that the winning works of the competition "The stories we are" will be presented, while the play "Pinocchio, elogio del cammino e del dono" (Pinocchio, the praise of the journey and the gift) will be presented as a new reading of a classic of world literature.
The meeting will end with a new message from Pope Francis, who will once again address the young economists and entrepreneurs of EoF.
In addition to the online event, the Regional Contacts of The Economy of Francis in Italy have organised a meeting in Assisi from 6 to 8 October, dedicated to relationships and formation. Hosted by the Diocese of Assisi, and in particular by the Sanctuary of the Spogliazione, more than 70 participants from The Economy of Francis (EoF) in Italy will meet to explore economic and social issues through ad hoc sessions designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and sharing.
