The friars of the Foundation of Notre Dame d'Afrique in Congo Brazzaville, meeting in Chapter from 14th to 19th August 2023, elected Br. Kévin Eusèbe Assassa as President and Br. Armel Badi Bilombo as Vice-President. Br. Guy Patchel Yengo, Br. Fabrice Ntsiba and Br. Allan Sosthène Banzouzi Ba-Nzozi were elected to the Foundation Council.
Br. Kévin was born in Brazzaville in 1972, took his first vows in 2000, his solemn vows in 2006 and was ordained a priest on 31 August 2008.
The Foundation Notre Dame d'Afrique currently has 30 friars and 5 novices. The friars are involved in pastoral work in the parishes, social work with street children, the education of young people through schools and the formation of friars and assistance.
The Chapter was presided over by Br. Victor Luís Quematcha, Definitor General and Visitator.
