From November 18 to 22 at Brodowski, São Paulo, in Brazil, the Chapter of the Custody of the Sacred Heart was held.
In the presence of the Visitator General, Br. Luís Augusto Ferreira Lessa, the friar capitulars had the opportunity to discuss and reflect on various issues, then to vote for the “guidelines” that will steer the work of the new government.
The brothers also elected the new custodial government: Br. Fernando Aparecido dos Santos was confirmed as Custos; Br. Lucas Lisi Rodrigues was voted as Custodial Vicar and, elected as Councillors were Br. Eduardo Augusto Schiehl, Br. Antônio Carlos Marchioni, Br. Valmir Ramos, and Br. Israel Costa Cardoso.
At the end of the chapter, during the concluding eucharistic celebration, Br. André Felipe Pereira Martins and Br. José Carlos Costa Santos renewed their temporary vows.
May God, through the intercession of the Seraphic Father St. Francis, bless this new custodial government so that the elected brothers may be faithful and persevering in their ministry undertaken on behalf of the brothers.
