Our brother Bishop Paskalis Bruno Syukur, OFM, Bishop of Bogor in Indonesia, has asked the Pope not to create him a Cardinal in the upcoming consistory on 7 December. He asks to continue to grow in his service to the People of God and the Church. The Minister General, out of deep respect for his choice, heard him personally. He expressed to him the fraternal closeness of the Order and his own, as well as his appreciation for his courageous and undoubtedly not easy gesture. Fr.0 Paskalis asks us to accompany him with prayer and fraternity.
