On Tuesday 26th September 2023, the Dicastery for the Institutes of Consecrated life and Societies of Apostolic Life organized a moment of thanksgiving for ten and a half years of service given by our brother, Mons José Rodriguez Carballo.
It consisted of a celebration of the Eucharist at the Tomb of St Peter in Vatican City. Afterwards a group of his co-workers and invited guests gathered at a luncheon to wish him well in his new assignment in the Diocese of Merida-Badajoz in Spain.
Our Minister General, Br Massimo Fusarelli, was carrying out his duties in South America on the day of this celebration but he sent our brother warm wishes on this new appointment in service of the People of God and also sent a friar as his delegate for the celebration.
