The Province of St. Junípero Serra of Mexico celebrated the Elective Provincial Chapter from the 23rd to the 28th February, presided over by Br. Cesár Efraín Santrich Bermúdez, OFM, during which they elected Br. Carlos Antonio Minjares Hinojosa, OFM, as Minister Provincial and Br. Felipe de Jesús Santiago Ortega, OFM as Vicar Provincial.
