On the Sunday of 26th January 2025, the International fraternity of the Secular Franciscans in Benin celebrated the International elective Chapter at the convent of the Capuchin Friars at Donaten -Cotonou. Present were 34 participants. 29 were Capitulars and 5 Religious together with the Custos Br. Bernadin Boko, OFMCap.
The Chapter was presided by the International Councilor of the French-speaking Africa, Adolph Atsu Assagba, OFS from Togo together with the delegate of Tibor Kauser, Minister General of OFS.
The Conference of the General Spiritual Assistants (CAS) was represented by Br. Tomàs Ginga Panzo Suva, OFMCap, who was the witness during the elections.
The Capitulars had a joy of electing the new Council where by Mrs. Albertine Attakpa, OFS was elected as the National Minister and International Councilor for the next here years. All was done in a fraternal climate, a promising future for the growth of the fraternity.
