ANTONIANUM: Inauguration of the 2017-18 Academic Year

The inauguration of the 2017-18 academic year of the Pontifical University Antonianum took place on October 23, 2017. The event had two moments. The first part took place in the University’s Aula Magna. The decree naming the Magnificent Rector and Vice Rector was read. After which the Rector  Sr. Mary Melone, SFA, gave a Report for the 2017-2018 academic year. This was followed by awarding the best students of the revious academic year. The first part then concluded with a greeting by the General Secretary of Formation and Studies, Br. Cesare Vaiani. The second part of the event took place in the Basilica Sant’Antonio in Laterano with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by the general Vicar of the Order and Vice Grand Chancelor of the University, Br. Julio Bunader. The Professors, Students and Staff participated in the celebration.
