Br Alard Krzysztof Maliszewski elected Minister Provincial in Poland

The friars of the Franciscan Province of St Hedwig in Poland, gathered in Chapter during these days, elected Br Alard Krzysztof Maliszewski as Minister Provincial and Br Fabian Gerard Kaltbach as Vicar of the Province. Br Wacław Stanisław Chomik, Br Jarosław Marek Zatoka, Br Mateusz Tomasz Fleiszerowicz, Br Marek Baranowicz and Br Kamil Mariusz Tymecki were elected to the office of Definitor. The new Provincial Br Alard was born in Warsaw, Poland. He made his first vows in 1989, solemn vows in 1994 and was ordained a priest on 3 June 1995. The Chapter, which concludes on Saturday 23rd, is presided over by Br. Stanisław Mazgaj from the Province of St. Mary of the Angels in Krakow.
