Br Alessandro Maria Mastromatteo re-elected Provincial of Puglia and Molise

On 12 May 2022, the Friars Minor of the Province of St Michael Archangel of Puglia and Molise, Italy, meeting in Chapter at San Giovanni Rotondo from 9 to 14 May 2022, re-elected Br Alessandro Maria Mastromatteo as Minister Provincial and Br Nicola Violante as Vicar Provincial. Furthermore, for the office of Definitors, Br Filippo D'Alessandro, Br Carlo Roberto, Br Marco Valletta and Br Antonio Lembo were elected.   Br. Alessandro Mastromatteo, re-elected Provincial for the three years 2022 - 2025, took his first vows in 2001, his solemn vows in 2005 and was ordained a priest on 19 May 2007. The Chapter, which ended on Saturday, 30 April, was presided over by Br Francesco Ielpo, Visitator General of the the Province of St Anthony of the Friars Minor Northern Italy.
