Br. Carlos Alberto TROVARELLI Elected New Minister General of the Friars Minor Conventual

On May 25, 2019, the Ordinary General Chapter of the Friars Minor Conventual elected Br. Carlos Alberto TROVARELLI as the new Minister General of their religious family. The election took place at the Sacred Convent in Assisi. Br. Carlos was born June 22, 1962, in Cinco Salto (Rio Negro), Argentina.  He belongs to the religious “Rioplatense” Province of St. Anthony of Padua in Argentina and Uruguay.  He professed his temporary vows on February 15, 1986, his solemn vows on October 4, 1990, and was ordained to the priesthood on March 25, 1995. Until the election, he served as the Assistant General for the Federación América Latina Conventuales (FALC). The Minister General, Br. Michael A. Perry, on behalf of the General Definitory and the Brothers of the Order, congratulates Br. Carlos and assures him that he will be remembered in prayers for the future ministry that awaits him in the service of the Conventual brothers. Br.
