Br Lino Gregorio Redoblado elected Minister Provincial

The friars of the Franciscan Province of San Pedro Bautista, in the Philippines, gathered in Botolan, Zambales, from 28 March to 1 April, elected Br Lino Gregorio Redoblado as Minister Provincial and Br Reu Jose Galoy as Vicar of the same Province. The following were elected to the office of Definitor: Br Joel Sulse, Br Eduardo Armenta, Br Cristino Pine and Br Baltazar Obico. The new Provincial, Br Greg, as he is called, was born in Tacloban, Philippines. He made his first vows in 1988, solemn vows in 1992 and was ordained a priest on 22 October 1994. He received his Doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Antonianum University in Rome in 2005. In the Province, Br Greg has already held the offices of Guardian, Definitor and Minister Provincial, while in the previous sexennium, 2015-2021, he served the Order as Definitor General. Br Jerry Bleem, Visitator General of the Sacred Heart Province in the United States, presided over the Chapter.
