On 28 June 2022, the Provincial Definitory of the Province of St Francis Solano of Peru, meeting in Lima, elected Br Iván Saravia Orellana as Minister Provincial. Br Iván Saraiva Orellana was elected after the previous Minister Provincial, Br Alejandro Adolfo Weisse Leòn, was appointed by Pope Francis as Bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Requena in Amazonia.
