The friars of the Franciscan Province of the Holy Spirit in Canada, gathered in Chapter, have elected Br Pierre Charland as Minister Provincial and Br Pierre Ducharme as Vicar Provincial. For the office of Definitors, Br Michael Perras, Br Dan Gurnick, Br Aimé Dô Văn Thông and Br Pierre Brunette were elected.
Br Pierre was born in North Bay. He made his first vows in 1992 and his solemn vows on 12 May 1996.
