It is with great joy that we, your brothers of the General Definitory, publish on the web site of the Order the Final Document of the General Chapter 2015. We wish to thank all who have been involved in the preparation, translation and editing of the Final Document. We encourage you, our brothers, to allow this document to call you to a deepening of your Franciscan identity, your life with God, with the brothers in fraternity, and your witness to the love and mercy of God to all people, especially the poor and marginalized, and to creation. God has plans for a great future for the Order but only if we fully cooperate with God, allowing God to lead us to the 'peripheries' carrying the mercy, the peace, and the joy of the Gospel.
