The Franciscan Conference “Our Lady of Guadalupe” (Mexico and Central America) concluded its 2nd Training Course for Franciscan Formators, held from October 27 to November 21, 2025, at the Franciscan Seminary in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. This diploma offered is officially recognized thanks to the support of Holy Cross University, located in Santiago de Querétaro, Qro. Twenty-four formators from different branches of the Franciscan family (Order of Friars Minor, Order of Saint Clare, Conventual Friars Minor, Capuchin Sisters) from Mexico, Central America, and the United States participated.

The 2nd Diploma Course of the “Our Lady of Guadalupe” Conference was launched at the request of the General Minister and the General Secretariat for Formation and Studies, who have emphasized in their letters to the Secretaries for Formation and Studies, the Moderators of Ongoing Formation, and the Animators of Vocational Pastoral Care, the urgent need to prepare qualified formators who can accompany the formation process with competence and evangelical passion. In particular, emphasis has been placed on the importance of fraternal collaboration among the various formators, the need for organic, gradual, and coherent formation, and the centrality of the Fraternity as the privileged environment for every formative journey.
