In memory of Br Martino Conti (1932-2021)

Br Martino Conti, OFM, a member of the Province of St Anthony of the Friars Minor (Northern Italy), has returned to the Father's House. He died on 16 December last in Trento, at the age of 89. Brother Martino was born in San Terenzo Monti, in the province of Massa Carrara, 14 July 1932. He took his first vows on 14 October 1950, solemn vows on 8 December 1954 and was ordained a priest on 29 June 1957. He was Professor of Theology, Dean of the Faculty of Theology and Rector of the Pontifical Antonianum University in Rome, as well as Consultant of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints and CICLSAL. He was also the author of essays, books and articles in the Franciscan field. We entrust him to the Lord, praying for his soul to be received into the eternal peace of good and faithful servants.
