Following the resignation of Br Albert Schmucki for health reasons, after careful discernment and several consultations, the Minister with the General Definitory at the recent Tempo Forte on November 12, appointed Br Iurii Semko, a member of the Province of ‘St Michael the Archangel’ in Ukraine and currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical University Antonianum, as the new Director of the Office for the Safeguarding of Minors and Vulnerable Adults. Br Joe Condren, a member of the Irish Province, continues as Secretary of the Office, with the Minister General as his contact person.
We express our best wishes to Br Iurii for this delicate service of contact with the Entities for formation and prevention in this field, according to the mandate of the General Chapter 2021.
