Ongoing formation meeting for Guardians and Superiors

On the 4th to 7th of November 2024 in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (Poland) took place the ongoing formation Workshops for Guardians and Superiors of religious houses of five Polish Provinces of the Order of Friars Minor. The meeting was organized by the Secretariat for Formation and Studies of the North Slavic Conference, headed by Br. Samuel Cegłowski OFM.

It was a good opportunity of prayer, integration and exchange of experiences, but also spiritual and intellectual formation. Lectures for over 100 friars were given by:

• Fr. Wojciech Bartnicki SSCC: "Styles of leadership in the community" and "How to live with a difficult brother?"
• Dr Danuta Piekarz: "Giving yourself - the sacrifice of Christ and ours"
• Br. Łukasz Buksa OFM: "Culture of destruction: analysis of contemporary processes of moral and cultural destruction in the context of Christian values" and "Digital technologies and their impact on the development of spiritual life. Interdisciplinary approach"
• Fr. Krzysztof Dyrek SJ: “The role and function of the superior in building community”.

On the last day, meetings were held in provincial groups with their Ministers provincial.
