On March 3, 2016, the School (Faculty) of Theology of the PUA sponsored a Study Day on "The Jubilee in view of justice as the promotion of otherness."
Chaired by Mario Cucca, OFM Cap, Vice Dean of the School, the day began with a greeting from Friar Alvaro Cacciotti, OFM, Dean of the same School; It continued with the following talks:
- Friar. Marco Nobile, OFM, of the PUA: "The relationship between religion and social justice in the light of Leviticus 25 and Deuteronomy 15:1-5”;
- Maria Giuseppina Muzzarelli, of the Alma Mater University in Bologna: "Credit as cure: the conception and action of the Monti Pii between the Middle Ages and Modernity";
- Silvano Petrosino, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan: "The last name of justice. Which is to say: on mercy ".
The Study Day concluded with a brief discussion.
