Solemn entrance of the Minister General in Bethlehem

On October 23, in the wake of the Three Kings, Br. Massimo Fusarelli, the new Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor, made his solemn entrance into the city of Bethlehem. He brought with him the burning fire of the faith of St. Francis of Assisi and hope, despite the difficult conditions experienced by the local population. The bagpipes and brass instruments of the scouts preceded the procession of Brother Fusarelli. Many children and families from Bethlehem were waiting for him. Brother Fusarelli was welcomed in the square in front of the Basilica of the Nativity by the religious and civil authorities.
