Thanks to Br. Bill Short at the end of his service

College of St. Bonaventure of the Friars Publishers of Quaracchi

On Tuesday, the 9th June, the fraternity of St. Isidore in Rome greeted with affection Br. Bill Short, at the end of his service as Director of the College of St. Bonaventure of the Friars Publishers of Quaracchi. Brother Bill directed the College for nine years, putting his skills and generosity to good use, and now returns to the United States. 

The Guardian, Br. Míchéal MacCraith, delivered a moving speech, in which he highlighted the human and intellectual characteristics of Br. Bill. On this occasion, the new Director of Quaracchi, Br. Marco Guida, Full Professor of Franciscan Hagiography at the Pontifical University Antonianum, was welcomed and wished good work. Br. Marco and Prof. Daniele Solvi, President of Quaracchi, presented Br. Bill with the parchment expressing the gratitude of the College for the valuable service carried out. 

Present were the Vicar General, Br. Ignacio Ceja Jiménez, who offered greetings and thanks on behalf of the Minister General, the Definitor General Br. Jimmy Zammit, the Secretary General for Formation and Studies Br. Darko Tepert, the General Bursar Br. Joel Esplana Sulse. 

Together with the friars of the General Curia, some of the lay collaborators of the College took part in the moment of celebration and thanksgiving. 

Thanks again to Br. Bill and best wishes for good work to Br. Marco!
