From 10th to 25th October 2023 during his visit in Poland and Ukraine, Br. Darko Tepert, General Secretary for Formation and Studies, together with the General Definitor who is responsible for the area, Br. Konrad Cholewa, and the Vice Secretary for Formation and Studies, Br. HieronimusYoseph Dei Rupa, visited all the houses of initial formation in Poland and the novitiate of the Foundation of all Franciscan Saints of Byzantine rite in Ukraine.
The visit included the inter-Provincial postulancy of the five Polish Provinces in Borki Wielkie and the inter-Provincial novitiate of the three Polish Provinces in Leżajsk to which from next year the two remaining Polish Provinces will join. Furthermore, Br. Konrad, Br. Darko and Br. Hieronimus visited the novitiate of the Province of Saint Mary of the Angels in Zkliczynie.
There was a meeting with all the Temporary Professed and Solemnly Professed friars who are studying Theology in Wrocław, Kraków, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Katowice and Poznań. They got the opportunity of discussing about the organization of the next meeting of all the Temporary Professed Friars from Europe programmed for the month of July 2024 at La Verna. They reflected on the possibility of the themes to be discussed, the format and appointment.
In Ukraine the General Secretary for Formation and Studies visited the novitiate of the Foundation of all Franciscan Saints which was established this year with the Decree of the Minister General and is now hosting three novices.
