The Minister General and the Vicar General are visiting the Holy Land, their first visit outside of Italy. These are days of meeting and opportunity for contacts, also ecumenical, for example with the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, listening to the friars and visiting the works of the Custody. Our presence in this blessed land is very precious and an occasion to pray for peace among the peoples who inhabit it.
