General Secretariat for the general affairs of the Order

About us

The General Secretariat regularly coordinates, also for the other Offices, all the work that is done in the General Curia. The Secretary is present at the sessions of the General Definitory, without having a deliberative voice.

The tasks of the General Secretariat are:

• under the authority of the Minister General, to coordinate all matters concerning administrative affairs that must be dealt with and to prepare the relevant documents;
• to draw up the minutes of the proceedings of the General Definitory;
• to ensure that the acts of the Curia are drawn up and kept in the archives;
• to prepare the Decrees and Letters following the decisions of the General Definitory;
• to prepare the meetings in the Curia (Visitors, New Ministers, Presidents of the Conferences);
• to update the database of the Order;
• to update the Promptuarium Secretarii Provincialis;
• to coordinate the offices of the General Curia;
• to guard the seal of the Order;
• to ensure the implementation of the GDPR.
