Inauguration Ceremony at the Pontifical Antonianum University for the 2018 – 2019 Academic Year

On Monday 22 October 2018 the inauguration ceremony of the new academic year 2018 – 2019 was held in the auditorium of the Pontifical Antonianum University. Br Julio César Bunader, Vicar General of the Order of Friars Minor and Vice Grand Chancellor of the University was present along with Br Cesare Vaiani, Secretary General for Formation and Studies. The meeting was chaired by Br Marek Wach, General Secretary of the University. Professor Mary Melone, Rector Magnifus, gave the traditional “Report on the Academic Year 2017 – 2018.” This was followed by prize-giving to some of the students and an address by Br Witosław J. Sztyk, Rector of the “Blessed Br Gabriel Allegra” fraternity on the theme: “Towards a plan for pastoral and vocational accompaniment of young people: the synod of bishops.” At 11.15 Br Julio César Bunader presided at a Eucharistic celebration in the Basilica of Saint Anthony.
