About us

The Translations Office examines, corrects and translates the texts received in the 3 official languages ​​of the Order (English, Italian, Spanish), and coordinates the translation work in the other languages ​​(French, Polish, German, Croatian, Portuguese), when necessary. It also offers the service of simultaneous translation during meetings, congresses and chapters approved by the Minister General and his Definitory.

The tasks for the Translations Office are:

• to translate into the 3 official languages ​​the texts received from the Minister General and the heads of the other Offices of the Curia;
• to coordinate the translation of texts into other languages ​​when the Minister General so orders;
• to verify that the translation work is carried out and that the texts reach the respective interested parties;
• to offer the service of simultaneous translation during some meetings or conferences.
